We are developing an AI copilot specifically designed for eye doctors. The core of the copilot is a general-purpose foundational multimodal AI system that can process both medical imaging data and clinical notes and integrates into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS). In practice, the goal is for this AI copilot to flag relevant features in ophthalmic images, provide interpretation of images, aid in summarizing patient history, assist with plan formation, aid in disease detection, and autosuggest note text.
