Yale Engineering Dean's Invited Speaker Series: Pushkar Tandon '95 PhD, Corporate Fellow at Corning Inc

Yale Engineering Dean Jeffrey Brock '92 invites the entire Yale community to attend a series of insightful talks featuring distinguished industry leaders on a variety of topics across engineering and related fields, followed by a casual reception and networking.

Our first Dean's Invited Speaker of the semester, Pushkar Tandon '95 PhD (chemical engineering), will explore the optical connectivity in hyperscale data centers with AI clusters,  alleviating capacity constraints in submarine optical fibers, and high fiber density cables in data center interconnects.

Pushkar Tandon is an executive fellow at Corning Inc., pioneering innovator, and developer of numerous products that have been successfully commercialized in the manufacturing of optical fibers, optical fiber cables, optical fiber connectors, fiber optics, diesel particulate filters, specialty glasses for UV lithography, and glasses for consumer electronics. Pushkar is a 2022 inductee in the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
