Tim manages all activities that support the technology commercialization and entrepreneurship missions of the department, including financial management, patent administration, government compliance, license administration, communications, information technology, and human resources.  

Tim brings an in-depth and diverse background to Yale and his experience includes finance and analysis, contract and pricing negotiation, procurement, strategic sourcing, operations and process management, and human resources. Prior to coming to Yale, Tim held various business and finance roles in industry at General Electric & Danaher Corporation and then most recently in a University setting at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.  

Tim received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and later earned his M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
