Emerald Energy (www.emeraldenergy.co) is solving the critical shortage of clean energy technicians. We are building a platform to source, assess, and train/upskill them using better technology. Emerald is starting by filling the gap in heat pump installers, then will expand into EVs, wind, and solar workers as we scale. We are piloting with the largest heat pump installer in the Northeast and its owner is a strategic advisor. We are also collaborating with workforce development organizations on Inflation Reduction Act-related grants. Emerald will work with companies, unions, and technical colleges as a B2B and B2B2C partner. We received investments from the energy agencies in NYS and MA (NYSERDA and MassCEC) and were selected to participate in the Venture for ClimateTech accelerator and Launch NY ECO incubator (both backed by NYSERDA).
