After completing my postdoctoral training at the Yale Cardiovascular Research Center, Yale School of Medicine, I became an Associate Research Scientist in 2024. My research focuses on the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying cardiovascular diseases, particularly pulmonary hypertension and other vascular diseases, with an emphasis on translating basic discoveries into novel therapeutic approaches. I earned my Ph.D. and M.S from the Complutense University (UCM) and Biology Research Center (CIB-CSIC) of Madrid, Spain, in biochemistry, molecular biology and biomedicine.
