Project: A novel bone marrow aspiration device that limits blood contamination and maximizes stem cell recovery while also increasing the area of bone sampled 45-fold compared to current devices. (Pilot Grant winner)

Dr. Brown graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was Chief Resident. He then completed a musculoskeletal fellowship at Yale. Dr. Brown is an Assistant Professor, Clinician Educator at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
