Fred Elmy is a Retired Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is a proven executive with strong leadership experience and deep technical expertise. As a trusted advisor to many of the Firm’s largest financial services and corporate treasury clients, he has significant finance, transaction and audit experience, and a track record of delivering high value solutions in dynamic ever-changing markets. He has significant experience working with companies on financial markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, technical accounting and SEC financial reporting matters, and regulatory compliance. He is skilled at assisting Treasury with funding, securitizations, credit risk transfers, investments and derivatives as well as companies looking to restructure assets and businesses to facilitate sale, disposition or relocation. His deep understanding of accounting, process flow and controls enables him to oversee the development of business transformation efforts, requirements, and the implementation of systems, controls and governance. 

Having worked closely with companies through various crises (S&L crisis, Dot-com bubble, September 11th attacks, 2007-2009 Financial Crisis, US Housing Crisis, and COVID-19), he has a reputation of being able to navigate difficult markets and tough issues to ensure companies are on the right footing as they move into the next phase of their growth or transformation. Elmy holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Florida. He is on the Board of a local United Way, and is a member of its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Taskforce. He also serves as a Corporator for a local Boys and Girls Club.
