Jonathan Mandelbaum, Ph.D., is a Vice President on the Private Equity team. Prior to joining OrbiMed, Dr. Mandelbaum worked at Accelerator Life Science Partners where he focused on biopharmaceutical company creation. Previously, Dr. Mandelbaum worked as a research scientist in the oncology drug discovery unit at Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Mandelbaum received
a B.Sc. from McGill University and a Ph.D. in Cellular, Molecular and Biophysical Studies from Columbia University.
