Liza Vasilyeva (she/her) 

Liza Vasilyeva is a Master's student at the Yale School of Public Health. Her academic focus is on the intersection of finance and healthcare, and the use of novel financial and managerial approaches to deliver impact in the Biotech and broader healthcare space. Liza also currently serves as a Co-President of Yale Biotech Club. Prior to Yale, Liza worked in venture capital and corporate finance in London, where she advised and invested in startups in the Biotech and Fintech space. Liza has a Bachelor's degree in Banking and International Finance from the University of London, where she graduated with first class honors. A true global citizen, Liza is originally from Russia and has also lived, worked or studied in the UK, Australia, Finland and the US. In her free time she plays volleyball and tennis, and explores the art of printmaking.
