Shengyan Jin (she/her/hers) 

Shengyan is a 4th-year PhD student in the Department of Genetics at Yale university. She is currently working with Professor Siyuan(Steven) Wang who focuses on the technique development and application of imaging-based 3D genomics and transcriptomics. Prior to joining Yale, Shengyan finished her undergraduate study and research at Fudan university in China, major in Biological Sciences. Shengyan is motivated and happy to learn more about the business development, entrepreneurship and investment of biotech and healthcare related fields, aiming to bridging the gap between the academic research and industry application and commercialization.
