Yaqing is a fifth-year PhD student in Experimental Pathology at Yale. Her doctoral thesis project involves both the molecular pathway exploration and the therapeutic hydrogel design of diabetic wound healing. Prior to graduate school, she majored in Materials Chemistry and did research on Biomaterials. With diverse training background, she is passionate about translational medicine and innovative therapeutics. This year, she joins Yale Ventures as a Yale-Canaan Fellow to gain more insights about life science and healthcare advances in the real world. In her life in New Haven, she enjoys hiking with friends and exploring fun activities and places around.
