We have developed a method to specifically eliminate harmful immune cells that cause chronic inflammation and are involved in certain cancers. Our key discovery is that these dangerous cells have high levels of certain proteins, and our lead treatment, Epi100, can target and destroy them. We have tested and confirmed our findings through various models and have seen positive results in conditions like lung cancer, metabolic disease, and endometriosis. Endometriosis, in particular, is a painful condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside it, affecting 1 in 10 women with no existing cure. Funding from Blavatnik is essential to support our program, helping us to validate Epi100 and further develop other promising treatments.
