Yale is seeking inaugural Program Director to lead new Roberts Fund for Innovation
The Roberts Fund for Innovation at Yale was established in 2022 through a generous $5 Million gift from Yale alumnus and business leader, Will Roberts ’90. The Fund provides very early stage funding for computational technologies including data science, artificial intelligence, high performance computing, and their application to solving real-world problems.
THE CAREER OPPORTUNITY:
Fund leadership is looking for a Director who will work closely with licensing and new venture executives, the Office of the Dean of Engineering, and the Roberts Fund advisory board. The candidate will have the unique opportunity to build the Fund from the ground up, and will be responsible for crafting and managing approved development plans.
This position comes on the heels on Yale's announcement regarding their 'landmark investments in engineering and applied science, FAS' via YaleNews. According to President Peter Salovey and Provost Scott Strobel, "new faculty positions will expand Yale’s expertise in traditional and emerging fields."
