During the 2023-2024 academic year alone, over 10,000 students, staff, faculty, and community partners engaged with Yale’s innovation-themed events, discovering opportunities to connect, collaborate, and explore groundbreaking solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems. From workshops to pitch competitions, these events showcase the breadth of Yale’s resources for innovators.

Yale Healthcare Hackathon 
January 24 – 26, 2025

The Yale Center for Biomedical Innovation & Technology (CBIT) has led and organized the Yale Healthcare Hackathon since 2014, bringing together over 2500 participants to hack on the greatest needs in digital therapeutics, personalized therapy, women's health, patient monitoring, and longevity.

February 6, 2025

Co-hosted by Tsai CITY, Yale Center for Biomedical Innovation & Technology, Yale SOM Program on Entrepreneurship, and Yale Ventures, this event is designed to foster connections in the Yale entrepreneurial ecosystem. Open to the Yale community.

YQuantum
April 12-13, 2025

Yale’s premier quantum computing hackathon hosted by the Yale Quantum Institute, bringing together thinkers and innovators from across the world to solve tomorrow’s most pressing quantum challenges. 

Yale Innovation Summit
May 28 – 29, 2025

The Yale Innovation Summit convenes the Northeast’s innovation and entrepreneurship community for two days of impactful conversations, purposeful networking, and Yale pitch competition across six tracks of programming. The event has become one of the region’s biggest and most impactful innovation events, drawing investors, founders, and industry partners to Yale’s campus to create new connections and opportunities.

Yale Entrepreneurship & Innovation Expo
August 26, 2025

The Yale Entrepreneurship & Innovation Expo brings together Yale’s many entrepreneurial organizations and clubs under one (literal) tent so that all students may learn more about the innovative resources and ecosystem available to them at Yale. ​This is an opportunity to learn about the latest Yale entrepreneurship prizes, programs, workshops, hackathons, classes, and opportunities and to connect with other students. All are welcome to help us kick off a new year of creativity and impact.

Demo Day 2025

Demo Day showcases Yale student founders and the student entrepreneurship community to investors, mentors, and students. Join Tsai CITY for a lively event featuring pitches and posters from 30+ ventures spanning industries like climate, tech, and the arts.

Clinical Pitch Night 2025

Students, clinicians, faculty, and local entrepreneurs gather with the goal of joining an interdisciplinary innovation team emerging from the Yale community.

Yale Clean Energy Conference
November 6-7, 2025

Yale Faculty Innovation Awards

Each year faculty across Yale develop new technologies and launch startups addressing global challenges. From improving human health and addressing climate change, to building the future of quantum computing, these companies are poised to change the world. The annual Yale Faculty Innovation Awards are an opportunity to recognize the significant contributions of these faculty investigators who bring these discoveries to market and launch Yale innovation into the world.

Yale Life Sciences Pitchfest

The annual Yale Life Sciences Pitchfest is a one-day event held each December to showcase Yale faculty innovators presenting breakthrough research projects in therapeutics, medical devices, and digital health.
