We're proud to share highlights from the 2026 Yale Innovation Summit—several days that reminded us why this gathering matters. Year after year, the Summit proves itself as the moment when our innovation ecosystem pulls together: researchers and founders, investors and policymakers, faculty, students, and alumni—all in one place, at one time.

This year's Summit was the most expansive yet: over 2,600 attendees, spanning 35 states and 24 countries. New programming including Developer Day and the Alumni Founder Reunion deepened the ecosystem's connective tissue, while the Summit's creative footprint expanded with a New Haven artist marketplace and an immersive experience in partnership with The Bushnell.

The cross-sector energy extended beyond Yale's campus. The announcement of Unilever's new New Haven research facility (hyperlink to announcement), the company's largest U.S. R&D investment in decades, was a milestone moment, and a signal of what's possible when a city, a state, and a university are pulling in the same direction.
