From the Managing Director: Moving Innovation Forward at 101 College Street
Our move to 101 College Street marks an exciting milestone for Yale Ventures and the broader New Haven innovation community. Designed with sleek, modern features, 101 College embodies the spirit of what we aspire for our campus and the city of New Haven—a dynamic innovation ecosystem that is a magnet for innovators and entrepreneurs.
This move goes beyond occupying a new space; it firmly anchors us at the center of New Haven’s thriving biotech and life sciences landscape. With cutting-edge laboratories and collaborative spaces, 101 College is being built to foster the intersection of technology, biotech, and academia. We are confident that this environment will inspire the next generation of Yale founders, building on the success of our neighbor, Yale spinout Alexion / AstraZeneca Rare Disease.
The transformation of the Downtown Crossing area has strengthened the connection between Yale’s medical and central campuses and established the center of gravity in the growing Connecticut life sciences market. We look forward to the incredible possibilities this new space will bring, and we are proud to be part of New Haven’s continued growth as a center for innovation and entrepreneurship. We hope you’ll stop by soon.
