Albert Kraus PhD is Managing Partner at GDS Partners LLC, a firm specializing in Global Medicine Development. He also currently assists the US Food and Drug Agency as one of the two regulated industry representative members of the Oncologic Drug Advisory Committee. Dr. Kraus was previously a Global Regulatory Portfolio Lead for Oncology at Pfizer from 2011 to 2023 where he helped build oncology at Pfizer, including as Global Regulatory Franchise Lead for IBRANCE. Prior to joining Pfizer Dr. Kraus held Vice President executive leadership team roles at multiple small Biotech firms, including Onyx, Proteolix, and Kosan Biosciences (where he was also a Corporate Director of Kosan Biosciences Europe Limited). Before this Dr Kraus held multiple roles at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) in the US and Europe, ultimately leading global oncology regulatory development as Group Director of Oncology Regulatory Science. His BMS contributions included leadership in the seminal melanoma development of ipilimumab (YERVOY), the first modern immuno-oncology medicine. Dr Kraus began his career with Procter and Gamble. Dr Kraus received his B.A. from Hamilton College, his MS from the University of Michigan, and his PhD from the University of Michigan.
