Alex joined the University’s Office of the General Counsel in 2019.  Prior to his appointment at Yale, Alex served as a Director & Principal Legal Counsel at Samsung and was an Associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP and O’Melveny & Myers LLP.  Alex earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Yale College and his J.D. with Pro Bono Distinction from Stanford Law School.  His work focuses primarily in the practice areas of Technology Transfer, Transactions, and Research.

Alex is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia; his work for the University is supervised by attorneys admitted in Connecticut.
