David has 30 years experience as an investor, with expertise across early and late stage venture capital, and growth equity investing. He currently is the Founding Managing Partner of Blue Ivy Ventures, a dedicated venture fund for Yale alums to invest in alumni related businesses, which now has a portfolio spanning over 150 venture investments. Previously, he was Senior VP Corporate Development and Business Development for DataXu, a marketer-aligned data and analytics company. Prior to that, he was a Director with the global venture capital and private equity firm 3i, and Co-founder and COO of Exygy, a startup focused on GPS and wireless technology. He also worked in the PE group at GE Asset Management, specializing in late stage venture and growth capital opportunities. David received his BA in History from Yale in 1991 and MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
