Subhashree Sunder is the Intellectual Property Funding Compliance Manager at Yale Ventures. In her role, Subha is responsible for managing invention disclosures and compliance reports to funding agencies. Prior to joining Yale Ventures, she was the Data and Documentation Manager for SalivaDirectTM at the Yale School of Public Health, where she managed the implementation and compliance of SalivaDirectTM COVID-19 testing protocol under FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization (EUA)  that lead to a network of 150+ laboratory partners across the US.

Subha started her career as a patent scientist at Genaissance Pharmaceuticals, LLC, a Yale start-up working on patents on single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and their haplotypes that were identified as potential targets for therapeutic agents. She is also a patent agent and has drafted patents in areas of nanotechnology, chemical and biochemical arts at Ziegler IP Law Group, LLC.

Subha holds a M.S. in Molecular Biology from Wright State University, MSc. and BSc. in Biochemistry from Avinashilingam University in India, and a graduate certification in Business Analytics from Sacred Heart University.
