We present a lead clinical candidate small molecule activator of pyruvate kinase M2 that targets the brain and islet to amplify incretin signaling as a novel therapeutic used alone or in combination with GLP-1 receptor agonists to treat obesity, diabetes, and MASLD. IND enabling support from this award will advance preclinical studies and lead optimization.
