We used a novel screen to identify new small molecules that inhibit RNA polymerase I and that are differentially toxic to triple negative breast cancer cells (TNBC) versus non-malignant cells in culture. We seek funding to obtain in vivo proof of concept to establish anti-tumor efficacy and preliminary toxicology in human TNBC tumor models in mice at the Yale Center for Precision Cancer Medicine (YCPCM).
