Toward a Cellular Operating System: Foundation Models for Contextual Biology
Contextual Bio develops foundation models that teach AI the language of biology, enabling prediction, simulation, and design of cellular behavior across genes, proteins, and tissues. Unlike existing single-cell or molecular models, our models capture biological context—how cells sense, signal, and respond in multicellular environments—unlocking in-silico discovery and translational applications.
With $100–300K, we will scale our multimodal training platform, expand our Context Atlas datasets, and validate model predictions in disease-relevant perturbations with pharma partners, establishing Contextual Bio as the foundation for programmable, context-aware biology.
