Visualizing Yale's Entrepreneurial Neural Network
This series of art installations celebrates Yale's innovation ecosystem — a vibrant community where ideas, resources, and collaborations flow freely across disciplines and boundaries. Through an interconnected, non-linear design inspired by neural networks, the installation mirrors how innovation actually happens: through countless connections, unexpected pathways, and continuous adaptation. Just as neurons form complex networks to create new patterns of thought, Yale's innovation community weaves together diverse perspectives, expertise, and initiatives to spark breakthrough solutions. The installation consists of four interconnected components:
- History: A timeline chronicling key moments in Yale's innovation journey
- Spaces: A showcase of programs driving innovation across campus
- People: Recognition of the Yale Faculty Innovation Award recipients who pushed the boundaries of their field
- Stories: Spotlight on the ventures of Innovation Award recipients
