Yale Innovators Recognized with Women of Innovation Awards
Yale innovators were recognized among Connecticut’s most accomplished women in STEM at the 20th Annual Women of Innovation Awards, hosted by the Connecticut Technology Council.

Anjal Jain, Yale undergraduate and founder of AdheRx, who received the Collegian Innovation and Leadership Award. Jain—also a recipient of the Yale Rothberg Build Fund—embodies the next generation of Yale innovators translating breakthrough research into real-world solutions.
Dr. Lea Winter, Assistant Professor of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, was also honored for Research Innovation and Leadership, recognizing her work at the intersection of sustainability, materials science, and energy innovation.
Also awarded was Jodie Gillon, President and CEO of BioCT. A close Yale Ventures collaborator, Gillon received the Community Innovation and Leadership Award for her role in strengthening Connecticut’s life sciences ecosystem.
Several other Yale finalists were celebrated for their leadership and impact: Dr. Margaret Cartiera, Innovation Director at Yale, for Academic Innovation and Leadership – Post-Secondary; Dr. Amber Childs, Associate Professor of Psychiatry and founder of M-Select, for Entrepreneurial Innovation and Leadership; and Dr. Ruzica Piskac, Associate Professor of Computer Science, for Research Innovation and Leadership.
