The new Yale Ventures Board of Advisors includes successful startup founders, venture capital investors, and Connecticut CEOs
Yale Ventures, an initiative launched by Yale University in 2022 dedicated to translating ideas and discoveries into new ventures that address the world's greatest challenges, is thrilled to announce the formation of its Board of Advisors. This new board is set to play a pivotal role in guiding Yale Ventures towards achieving its ambitious goals and supporting Yale Ventures as it works to grow Yale’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Yale Ventures has made great progress advancing Yale’s entrepreneurship ecosystem under the leadership of Managing Director Josh Geballe,” said David Stemerman ’90, Chair of the Yale Ventures Board of Advisors and Chief Executive Officer/Chief Investment Officer at CenterBook Partners LP. “We have brought together an inaugural Board of Advisors to provide strategic advice, help assemble resources, and engage directly with Yale’s innovation community. The Board is excited about Yale Ventures’ potential to impact Yale, our community and the world’s greatest challenges and looks forward to doing our part to accomplish its mission.”
The Yale Ventures Board of Advisors comprises an experienced group of distinguished entrepreneurs and investors, many of whom are Yale University alumni. Their collective experience and expertise are expected to provide invaluable strategic and professional insights. The board's primary role is to advise the Managing Director and Yale Ventures staff, support the broader Yale innovation ecosystem, and help mobilize the necessary resources to fulfill Yale Ventures' mission.
“We are honored to have such an accomplished group of individuals join our inaugural Board of Advisors,” said Josh Geballe, Managing Director of Yale Ventures and Senior Associate Provost for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Yale. “Their guidance will be instrumental in supporting Yale innovators and their groundbreaking ideas and helping us to achieve our goals in strengthening Yale’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.”
The Board of Advisors is expected to enhance Yale Ventures' ability to support budding entrepreneurs and innovators across the university, providing them with the strategic direction and resources needed to succeed in today's dynamic and competitive landscape.
Yale Ventures continues to invite collaboration and support from across the university and its broader community, aiming to leverage the full potential of Yale's extensive research, leading scholars and innovative students.
