Designer RNAs for Next Generation Therapeutics
We are de-risking a new class of Designer RNA therapeutics that directly control cell migration by targeting focal adhesion protein networks. We have identified RNA candidates that modulate human cell motility and have optimized their structural features (Milestone- 1) with validated activity in quantitative 2D migration assays (Milestone-2). Lead candidates are now poised for delivery via lipid nanoparticles to assess functional efficacy in 3D human skin wound-healing models (Milestone-3, Accelerator target). This work will establish feasibility and position the platform for expansion toward diseases driven by aberrant cell migration, including cancer, as part of the Blavatnik Development phase.
