Michelle leads innovation marketing and events at Yale Ventures, where she advances the visibility of Yale faculty innovation, entrepreneurship, and partnerships. She is also a founding member of Yale’s amplifyHERscience initiative, which promotes greater participation and leadership of women in science and entrepreneurship. Before joining Yale, Michelle co-founded DavEllePR in 2009, advising experts, startups, and established companies on strategic communications, media engagement, and high-profile events. Earlier in her career, she managed international media relations for technology companies at the Abelson Group. Michelle’s leadership in entrepreneurship and diversity initiatives has been featured in Yale Daily News and Tech Transfer Central. Her communications expertise has also been recognized in Bulldog Reporter, PR Week, and AOL News. She has guest lectured in marketing at New York University. 

Michelle lives on the Connecticut coastline with her husband and two children.
