Richard Andersson is a Senior Business Development Associate at Yale Ventures and carries out activities leading to the commercialization of technologies invented in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Yale University. These activities include identification of transferable technologies, development of commercialization strategies and negotiation of licenses and collaborative R&D agreements.

Prior to joining Yale Ventures, Richard was a consulting technologist and project manager for Ressources Minieres Pro-Or Inc.; a renewable energy business developer for the Combustion Group; a business developer and general manager for Fer-Min-Ore Phosphate; an industrial engineer for Consol Ltd.; and a field service engineer for Schlumberger Oilfield Services.

Richard holds a B.A. in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a M.Eng. in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK.
