Robert McGrath is Executive Director of Business Development at Yale Ventures, managing the Business Development team that commercializes the innovations and discoveries developed at Yale.  Before joining Yale, Bob was a Senior Associate Vice Provost at Drexel University, where he spent 19 years leading the Intellectual Property and Agreements team at Drexel Applied Innovation, Drexel’s technology transfer program, and was responsible for serving innovators across the University.  This followed his tenure at the Center for Technology Transfer of the University of Pennsylvania where he was Director of Technology Licensing.  Bob received a B.S. in Biology from Dickinson College, a Ph.D. from The Rockefeller University, and was a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow for his postdoctoral work at Penn.
