Julia is a 4th year PhD candidate in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. Her research focuses on the development of circular economy technologies for upgrading waste and contaminant carbon sources into value-added chemicals and fuels. Julia is excited about bringing bench-scale innovation to the real world and has explored this interest through an internship on the R&D team of Oxylus Energy, as a member of the Climate Deal Team for the Meng Impact Investment Fund, and now as a PSIA Venture Fellow.
