Lauren is a PhD candidate in environmental economics and policy at the Yale School of the Environment. She is interested in identifying and advancing sustainable solutions that are both economically efficient and scalable. Her research examines how secure property rights influence long-term investment and human and environmental welfare. Prior to Yale, Lauren earned a degree in civil engineering from Santa Clara University, served in the Peace Corps, and completed a master’s degree in global policy at the University of Notre Dame. After graduating, she hopes to build a career advancing market-based solutions in the energy and sustainability sectors.
