When combined with his 10 years of experience at Ernst & Young prior to co-founding FML, Frank Milone has over 25 years of experience providing audit and advisory services to a broad range of clients within the Northeast marketplace. Milone leads the Firm’s Emerging Companies and Venture Capital audit practice and has significant experience working in a variety of industries, including technology, biotechnology, medical device, manufacturing and consumer products. Milone regularly advises mature and emerging growth company clients in the areas of debt and equity financings, revenue recognition and equity compensation. Milone also leads the Firm’s Internal Control practice which includes Sarbanes-Oxley services, SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits, Cybersecurity audits and internal audit support services. Lastly, Frank heads the Firm’s Benefit Plan audit practice and has significant experience auditing both public (11-K) and private defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans and health and welfare plans. 

Frank Milone earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and is a Certified Public Accountant. Milone has served on a number of boards including being Past President of the Board of Directors of the UConn Alumni Association and Crossroads Venture Group. Milone is currently serving as the Chair of the Public Policy Committee and a member of the Finance and Nominating Committees.
