Michelle Nantel is the Operations Manager at Yale’s Center for Biomedical Innovation and Technology. With 10 years of experience, Michelle drives CBIT’s programs and events with regard to organizational and operation strategy, and administrative needs. Michelle leads CBIT’s Clinical Immersion Program and the Yale CBIT annual Healthcare Hackathon which brings together over 350+ participants, mentors, and academic and industry partners to address the greatest needs in healthcare. Michelle is also the liaison for incoming projects and innovations, as well as academic and industry collaborations.

Prior to joining Yale, Michelle held roles in human resources engaging with executive leadership in full life cycle recruitment process including knowledge assessment, interviewing techniques, and onboarding.

Michelle is driven by her passion for human engagement, thinking creatively, and proactive planning.  Her interests outside of work include spending time with her husband and 3 children, yoga, health and wellness, and mindfulness.

Michelle holds a B.S. from Southern Connecticut State University.
