Susan Carr brings more than 25 years of business development experience to her new role at Yale.  


At Johns Hopkins, Susan spearheaded efforts to identify faculty innovation with commercial potential and to shepherd faculty through the commercialization process. She fostered and supported commercial collaborations such as the Johns Hopkins/Walgreens partnership.  Before her tenure at Johns Hopkins, Susan worked in the pharmaceutical and health payer industries identifying novel products, conducting market research and competitive intelligence and drafting product strategy and business plans.


Susan earned a Master of Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Scranton and a Certificate in Clinical Research from Drexel University.
